Connect AI

Use DesignEye right inside your AI assistant

Connect DesignEye to WorkBuddy, Claude, ChatGPT, Doubao, Cursor and other AI assistants: send a photo and say what you want, the AI picks the right tool, lists the space types and styles for you to choose, then generates the picture. You sign in and approve the app when connecting; pictures are charged to that account.

Add the address to your AI

This address is all you need. The first time, the AI opens the DesignEye sign-in page: sign in and tap Approve, and from then on it makes pictures as you, with your credits. Nothing works without signing in.

Choose your AI

  1. Open WorkBuddy → Settings → MCP → Add MCP server, or edit ~/.workbuddy/mcp.json under Connect → Custom → Configure MCP, with the configuration below.
  2. Save, then sign in to DesignEye in the browser when asked and tap Approve.
  3. Start a chat, send photos and say “use DesignEye”. WorkBuddy reads local files and uploads the pictures itself.

Approved AI apps

These apps use DesignEye as you and spend your credits. Revoke any you no longer use; it stops working at once.

How do the pictures get there?

Agents that read files: automatic

WorkBuddy, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents that can read files and run commands ask DesignEye for an upload link and upload the photos and references themselves.

Chat apps: one tap to upload

ChatGPT, Claude on the web, Doubao and other chat apps cannot pass pictures from the chat to outside tools (a limit of those platforms). The AI gives you an upload link: open it, pick the pictures, and say “done”.

What the AI can do
